 Join the Thayer Symphony Orchestra for the 20th annual Youth at the Pops concert and fireworks display on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at the Bernardian Bowl on the campus of St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg, MA. The event will be held rain or shine. The gates will open at 4:00 p.m. for people to picnic and enjoy a variety of family activities. The Alumni Association of St. Bernard's High School will operate concession stands. Following his trademark grand entrance, Conductor Toshimasa Francis Wada will begin the orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m.  Free tickets will be available at the following sponsor locations: Fleet (Fitchburg, Gardner, Leominster and Westminster branches); Workers' Credit Union (all branches); W.E. Aubuchon stores in Fitchburg at the Parkhill Plaza, both Leominster locations (Route 12 & Central Street), and in Lunenburg on Route 2A. Free tickets can also be found at all local branches of Family Federal Savings Bank; First Massachusetts Bank; Fitchburg Savings Bank; I-C Federal Credit Union; Leominster Enterprise Bank & Trust; Fidelity Bank, and Dunkin' Donuts locations at 151 Main Street in Fitchburg and 804 North Main Street in Leominster. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the concert for $4.00 each. | |

 Celebrate the Fourth of July in style with the Thayer Symphony Orchestra. Thousands of free tickets are given away each year by generous area sponsors, so that everyone can enjoy an evening of music and a spectacular fireworks display. Each year, Maestro Wada celebrates the young people of our communities through special music and guest artists at Youth at the Pops. The July 4th extravanganza was attended by 10,000-12,000 area residents, who enjoyed the wonderful music and fireworks display. | |
